Qualification content, structure and outcomes. This qualification provides transferable skills, knowledge and understanding that can be applied in any business setting. The units in Group A are aligned to National Occupational Standards for business and represent the core attributes required by employers in a range of business settings. The units in Group B specialise in Human Resources.
This Study Programme is designed to allow you as a learner to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to enable you to progress to further and higher education, apprenticeships or into work. Â
There aren’t any specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. The Study Programme is suitable for learners aged 16 and over.
Learning at this level involves obtaining detailed knowledge and skills. It is appropriate for people wishing to go to university, people working independently, or in some areas supervising and training others in their field of work. Level 3 qualifications are at a level of learning equivalent to NVQ3/A Level.

The qualification is designed to be delivered over 3 months for full-time study, but it is also flexible in its delivery in order to accommodate part-time and distance learning. The qualification is delivered online, through lectures, case studies and quizzes.
The NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business: Human Resources is a knowledge-based qualification which is internally assessed and externally quality assured.
Upon completion of the qualification, you could progress to:
- NCFE Level 4 Diploma in Skills for Business
- NCFE Levels 4 Diplomas in Human Resource
- NCFE Levels 4 Diplomas in Sales and Marketing
- Foundation Degree in Business management discipline
